We are an independent, internationally active trading company, directed by the company owner. Our main focus is on anti-friction bearings for trade, industry and manufacturing.

The company was founded in 1969 by Palmiro Zanuso, who, with the help of his wife Irene, built up the company and was able to establish it in the European marketplace. Following the sudden and early death of the company founder in 1977...

...his son, Manrico Zanuso, took over the chief executive position of the company and made the joint partnership into a private limited company. Under his leadership, and with the support of his wife Elfriede, who joined him in 1985, the Zanuso Company grew into a globally active enterprise. In a tragic repetition of history, Manrico Zanuso also died an unexpectedly early death in 2003 – only a short time after the death of his mother.

Since that time the company has been run by his wife Elfriede von Lüdinghausen. In the intervening years, she has built up and further developed the company continuously...

...together with her son Jörg, who joined the company from another position in 2001. With him, as well as with his wife Claudia, who joined the firm in 1996, the third generation of this family-run business is complete.


And the fourth generation – Julian and Valentina – are also getting ready to help...
